First topic on my list is REVELCON, March 14-16
What’s currently on the agenda for the Several room:
- Traditional Saturday Night Pizza Party
- Friday and Saturday Video Nights (mostly anime and curiosities—contact Erika if you have recommendations.
- Fannish Once Upon a Time card game (would anyone care to playtest at the March 7 meeting?) Don’t really have a time figured out for this—any suggestions?
- Several Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday IF people are interested in showing up at a pearly 9:00 a.m. Well?
- Also, Elizabeth, Amy and I are slotted for a fanfic panel on Sunday morning, so you can come and kibitz.
- Erika is slotted on a crossover panel on Saturday as well.
- Have I forgotten anything?
Fannish Summer Party
We’ve talked about this for a while but haven’t gone forward because we don’t have a venue. It’s time to get started now because summer will show up before we know it. I would like EVERYBODY to contact me with your best idea about a possible location. If you haven’t got a clue about where we should go, then tell me that, and I won’t have to hunt you down.
- Desirable characteristics for our party space:
Central or at least easy to find and get to - Doesn’t require somebody standing at a gate to let people in
- Reasonably inexpensive (there’s money in the kitty, so it doesn’t have to be free)
- Food permitted
- Flexible space, so we could have more than one activity at once
- Indoor/outdoor would be nice (even fans could toss a Frisbee—or grill hot dogs)
Finally, please inform Margaret or me if you’re willing to volunteer your home for a meeting or video party. Don’t make us hunt you down…
